I just got a FORM 2! How long do I need to charge it?
While we’re sure you’re eager to get started, we recommend charging it for 8 hours prior to first use. Letting your vibrator fully charge protects the battery and ensures a longer lifespan.
Help! My FORM 2 won’t charge.
The first thing to check is the back of the charger – has the cord become disconnected from the base?
If that’s not it, check to see if the circular metal charging contact on your vibrator is making proper contact with the charging base. Be sure FORM 2 is sitting upright in the charger.
When FORM 2 makes proper contact with the charger, the light at the base of the vibrator will illuminate and remain lit, indicating that FORM 2 is charging. If the light flashes, FORM 2 is not properly contacting the charging base. Reposition it until the light stays lit. Still having issues? Don’t worry – contact our customer service team, and they will take good care of you.
How do I use the ears on FORM 2?
To make the best use of the independently powered ears, we highly recommend reading our Suggested Uses. If you’re more of a visual person, our FORM 2 Intro Video offers a great starting point.
Here’s a move to get you started: Cup the round base of the vibrator in your hand with the ears placed on either side of the clitoris. Each ear has its own motor and sends its own vibrations. This is what we mean by Sensation in Stereo. For an extra thrill, you can give the ears a squeeze. They’re quite flexible, allowing you to find just the right pressure.
Help! My FORM 2 won’t turn on.
Though it sounds obvious, the first thing you should check is whether it’s out of battery power. You can test it by lifting FORM 2 from its charging base. Its light will illuminate to indicate battery level.
If that doesn’t do the trick, check to see whether it has been accidentally locked. If any button is pressed briefly while FORM 2 is locked, the light will blink rapidly, but it will not start to vibrate. Our Travel Lock feature engages when you press “+” and “~“(the “Mode” button) at the same time for 1.5 seconds. To disengage it, place FORM 2 on the charging base momentarily, or press “+” and “~“ at the same time for 1.5 seconds.
If your vibrator still won’t turn on, contact Customer Service.
Will it really run for over 4 hours on a single charge?
FORM 2 can run up to 4 hours on a single charge when in its lowest power setting in most vibration modes. Higher power levels require more battery power – Constant Mode on the highest power level will discharge the battery the fastest.
How do I know when it needs to be charged?
If the battery becomes fully discharged while it is running, the vibration will stop and the light will slowly flash 4 times to indicate that it needs to be recharged.
For the longest life, it’s best to recharge Lithium Ion batteries before they’re fully discharged. A good rule of thumb is to leave your vibrator on the charging base when it’s not in use.
Help! It’s making a grinding noise/the vibration is shifting into the base.
When the ears of FORM 2 are pressed together, pressure is also exerted on the motors, and this can cause the vibration to temporarily change and/or become louder. Vibration will not stop, nor will FORM 2 become damaged. This change is normal and indicates the motors are functioning properly.
All motors, when pressure is applied to them, will decrease in vibration level – the pressure restricts their movement. However, no other vibrator offers two motors so close to the surface of a flexible casing, so the behavior of FORM 2 is somewhat unique.
If you’re experiencing the above change, try switching the orientation of FORM 2 or shift to another vibration mode. These small changes can alleviate the pressure applied to the motors (and take you back to your happy place).
How do I use the Digital Travel Lock?
To engages the travel lock, press "+" and "~" (the "Mode" button) at the same time for 1.5 seconds. This makes it impossible for the vibrator to turn on when buttons are pressed. To disengage it, place your FORM on the charging base momentarily, or press "+" and "~" at the same time for 1.5 seconds.
Does the FORM 2 contain nickel?
Some Jimmyjane vibrators contain a trace level of nickel that is safe for those without nickel allergies and conforms to the RoHS safety standards. FORM 2, FORM 3, FORM 4 and FORM 6 have stainless steel metal contacts that contain nickel. Those with nickel allergies should avoid these metal contacts or purchase a different Jimmyjane product.
