I just got a FORM 4! How long do I need to charge it? While we're sure you're eager to get started, we recommend charging it for 8 hours prior to first use. Letting your vibrator fully charge protects the battery and ensures a longer lifespan.
Help! My FORM 4 won't charge. The first thing to check is the back of the Charging Base – has the cord become disconnected from the base?
If that's not it, check to see if the circular metal charging contact on your vibrator is making proper contact with the Charging Base. Be sure FORM 4 is sitting upright in the charger.
When FORM 4 makes proper contact with the charger, the light at the base of the vibrator will illuminate and remain lit, indicating that FORM 4 is charging. If the light flashes, FORM 4 is not properly contacting the Charging Base. Reposition it until the light stays lit. Still having issues? Don't worry – contact our customer service team, and they will take good care of you.
Help! My FORM 4 won't turn on. Though it sounds obvious, the first thing you should check is whether it's out of battery power. You can test it by lifting FORM 4 from its Charging Base. Its light will illuminate to indicate battery level. If you see four slow flashes, the battery is fully discharged.
If that doesn't do the trick, check to see whether it has been accidentally locked. If any button is pressed briefly while FORM 4 is locked, the light will blink rapidly, but it will not start to vibrate. Our Travel Lock feature engages when you press "+" and "~" (the "Mode" button) at the same time for 1.5 seconds. To disengage it, place FORM 4 on the Charging Base momentarily, or press "+" and "~" at the same time for 1.5 seconds.
How do I know when it needs to be charged? When you lift FORM 4 from the Charging Base, its light will illuminate to indicate battery level.
3 blinks – high charge
2 blinks – medium charge
1 blink – low charge
4 slow flashes – zero charge
If the battery becomes fully discharged while it is running, the vibration will stop and the light will slowly flash 4 times to indicate that it needs to be recharged.
Will it really run for 4 hours on a single charge? FORM 4 can run up to 4 hours on a single charge when in its lowest power level in most vibration modes. Higher power levels require more battery power – Constant Mode on the highest power level will discharge the battery the fastest.
Is it okay to let the battery fully discharge before recharging? We don't recommend letting your FORM 4 fully discharge, as it can damage the battery and reduce its lifespan. A good rule of thumb is to leave your vibrator on the Charging Base whenever it's not in use.
Can I leave FORM 4 on the charging base with out damaging it? Yes. It is impossible to overcharge your FORM 4.
How do I use my Three Year Warranty? First, be sure to register your FORM 4 at register. (You'll also get a 25% discount code on your next Jimmyjane purchase while you're at it.) Should I use lubricant? Using lube can create a more pleasurable experience, whether you're going solo or playing with a partner. Your FORM 4 will be able to move more smoothly and comfortably over the body. Be sure to use a water-based lubricant with FORM 4, as some silicone-based lubricants (especially those that contain cyclomethicone) can degrade silicone products.
How should I care for/clean my FORM 4? For hygienic reasons, it's a good idea to wash FORM 4 between every use. FORM 4 is completely submersible and thoroughly washable, so you can clean it in the sink or shower using a gentle soap. Never use chemical cleaners or abrasives. Be sure to completely dry FORM 4 with a soft cloth or towel before placing it back on the Charging Base, as the water can corrode the charging contacts.
Do I need an International Convertor to use FORM 4 outside the U.S.? If you live outside the U.S., you can purchase FORM 4 with a U.K. or European adapter. The FORM 4 adapter is compatible with multiple voltages, so if you ever travel abroad, you'll only need an international plug adapter (not a voltage convertor).
