Ethan Imboden, Founder
Prior to founding Jimmyjane, Imboden spent over 10 years in brand and product development with some of the world's top design firms. Under the auspices of the Arnell Group, Ecco Design, Frogdesign, Alchemy Labs and Plink, Imboden has consulted for diverse clients such as Ford, Motorola, Dell, Herman Miller and Nike. In recent years, Imboden has received more than ten ID, IDEA, AIGA, and Good Design awards in recognition of his contributions to the fields of product and graphic design. A prolific innovator, he is listed as an inventor on over twenty registered patents and applications.
Early in his career, Imboden worked at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory where he collaborated on the development of an ultra high speed DNA sequencer and other cutting-edge automated lab instrumentation for the Human Genome Project. He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins and his Masters in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute.
Alicia Sinclair, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development
Alicia brings more than 12 years experience working in the pleasure industry with a focus on developing premium brands. Her past work at Pipedream and as Director of Sales and Marketing for Baci Lingerie Worldwide demonstrates a proven track record in new business development, marketing campaigns, trade show execution and delivering flawless service to customers. Her combination of her understanding of the category with her abilities in marketing & retail execution make her an excellent fit.
Alicia will be a key member of the executive team and is responsible for developing exclusive partners abroad as well as growing business with our current partners. She will initiate new tools for retail to optimize logistics, communication, marketing promotions and merchandising plans. Alicia will also be a strong force on new product development.
Peter Caropelo, Vice President of Creative Development
Peter is a veteran team-member at Jimmyjane where he has been deeply immersed in creative services and product development for over six years. His skills draw heavily on his unique and diverse background, which he will continue to use to position Jimmyjane as a design-centric lifestyle brand and innovation leader in the pleasure product category. In his years at Jimmyjane he has played an integral role on the creative services and product development team. His influence and leadership contributed to the recent website re-design, and the successful launches of HELLO TOUCH and the company's flagship line of FORM Waterproof Rechargeable Vibrators.
Peter will continue to employ the design process that has earned Jimmyjane numerous design industry accolades including five IDEA Awards from FastCompany and Business Week, three GOOD Design Awards, two SPARK Awards and a Print Design Award for Jimmyjane's packaging. He is commited to remaining true to the design process and standards that set Jimmyjane apart, garnering a following from customers worldwide.
Katie Reifman, Account Executive
Katie has worked in the consumer packaged goods industry for more than 7 years, concentrating on growing and developing professional beauty brands. Her experience working in the mainstream category for prestigious brands such as Bliss Spa and Algenist, makes her a great addition to growing Jimmyjane in all channels, as well as generating new accounts. Katie will be using her professional experience to implement strategic, custom educational and marketing platforms for all accounts.
Meredith Davis, Sex Expert & Social Media Manager
Meredith Davis received a B.A in Human Sexuality and Psychology from Indiana University where she spent over four years conducting sex research at the renowned Kinsey Institute and the Center for Sexual Health Promotion. Her passion for sex education and background in sex research is what drew Meredith to Jimmyjane's mission of bringing sexual wellbeing to the mainstream market.
Meredith is responsible for developing sexual education programs – videos, tips, written content, seminars and panel discussions to help broaden the public’s understanding of vibrators and the positive effects they have on our health as well as interfacing with consumers thru social media.
